Make the gift of a flower even more personal

And fun to do as well!

You don’t really need a reason to give flowers as a gift but maybe you do have a reason. Perhaps your neighbour looked after your house while you were away, your parents took the children away for the weekend or your best friend’s always there for you. Whatever the reason may be, it’s always nice to give flowers. It’s even nicer if you make the accompanying card special, by personalising it with a trendy Polaroid and a hand-written thank you note.

You will need:

  • Flowers, we chose Alstroemeria

  • A Polaroid camera

  • Card

  • Black washi tape

  • Scissors

  • Black brush pen

Get to work

Take a nice photo of yourself with the flower or flowers you want to give. Struggling for inspiration? Hold the flowers in front of your face or photograph yourself holding the flowers in the air. The possibilities are endless. When you’ve taken your photos, stick the best one on the card with washi tape and write the message on the card with the brush pen. A particularly nice touch is to attach one flower, fresh or dried, to the card.
