The fairytale behind Florabotanica

In the fairytale that Florabotanica is based on, the tailor returns to the forest. He has run out of inspiration to make the loveliest creations and is bored, but he can’t help making a couple of sketches. He then tears the beautiful drawings into pieces and they cover the black soil in the forest.

Bewitched by the fragrance of the flowers

Then spring comes. Graceful shoots come out of the earth, in beautiful colours. The tailor keeps the flowers from this plant in a bottle which he designed himself. The design was inspired by a saying by the artist Francisco Goya: “In nature there is only black and white”. As the years went by women became bewitched by the perfume, but no one ever discovered what precisely it was made of.

The fragrance of Florabotanica

We now know what the ingredients of Florabotanica are. The perfume comprises vetiver, amber and caladium leaves for a mysterious note and carnation, mint and the secretive Experimental Rose© as a fresh counterbalance. Would you also like to be bewitched by the flower fragrance?
