Surprise on wheels
The bike is an excellent place to start. Transform their basket with a crown of flowers, or weave tulips through the wheel spokes. If your loved one drives a motorbike to work, leave a bunch of flowers in the top box where they put their rucksack and start their day with a smile.
Maybe you're walking to your car, all wrapped up warm, and you spot something that makes your heart leap. Tucked under the windscreen wipers is a small bouquet of your favourite flowers. Detaching the gift, you read the accompanying card and a grin spreads over your face. Imagine... it would leave you smiling for the whole journey.

Make everyday things special
In the kitchen on February 14th, you might lift the lid of a saucepan to find a beautiful bouquet hidden away. Fabulous orchids adorn the shower, mini-vases with your favourite flowers cover your desk, and on your dresser is a bespoke, handmade flower crown for wearing to your lovers' picnic à deux.

With a bit of inspiration, and some forward planning, you can make flowers appear in unexepected locations throughout the whole of Valentine's Day. How about decorating the dog's lead with a flower chain, or filling a wallet with rose petals? Put a single flower in their book as a bookmark, and lay a rose on the pillow in the evening. From dawn till dusk, your Valentine’s Day will be filled with romance.
