IKEBANA-STYLE GERBERAS
You will need:
- Plenty of gerberas
- A flower pick (also known as a kenzan)
- Modelling clay
- A clear glass
How to make it
- Fix the flower holder to the bottom of the glass using the modelling clay.
- Trim the stems to obtain different lengths and add dynamism.
- Arrange the gerberas one by one on the spikes of the kenzan.
- Add a little water and admire your floral masterpiece!
(Good to know: for gerberas, their roots can tend towards rot, so keep an eye on their roots).
Sweet peas in series
You will need:
- Sweet peas
- A collection of small glass vases
How to make it
- Gather your vases, fill them with water and arrange them to prepare your floral scene.
- Trim the stems to different lengths, to add originality.
- Arrange the sweet peas one by one in the vases.
- Put the finishing touches to the arrangement and admire your bucolic installation!
FLOWERS IN A PYRAMID
You will need:
- Loose opulent seasonal flowers (roses or peonies depending on the season)
- 3 identical vases
- Chicken wire
- Adhesive tape
How to make it
- Place the wire mesh in the vases to hold the bottom of the stems in place, add water and tape the top of the vase to create a grid pattern to hold the top of the flower stems in place.
- Arrange the 3 vases to form a pyramid - with the third vase placed centrally on the other two.
- Trim the stems to different lengths for a balanced pyramid.
- Place the flower stems one by one in the vases.
- Put the finishing touches to your arrangement and admire your floral pyramid!
