The Feng Shui of the Lily

A flower of abundance and wealth

Flowers always add joy to a room and they can also mean so much more. Featuring a lily in your home can not only look great aesthetically, but can also add a whole new energy to the room, depending on the colour and occasion.

A harmonious display

To create a floral arrangement that is particularly harmonious and auspicious, combine purple, white and gold colours. This could be achieved by combining white and purple lilies in a gold vase, or placing them in a room where gold in already in the colour scheme.

A flower of wealth

The lily, along with tulips, irises and gladiolas are all considered to represent acquired wealth. Other meanings in Feng Shui include abundance and summer so now is the perfect time to feature lilies in your home.

Things to avoid

Whilst red flowers are beautiful, they shouldn't be gifted to someone who is ill or at the beginning of a relationship. Additionally, red and white lilies should never be combined in a display as they do not create a good energy.
