The personal touch
From dried flowers and foliage to tree bark and grasses, Smith gathers nature’s most beautiful spoils and captures their ephemeral beauty. Each one-of-a-kind piece is individually handcrafted resulting in a beautifully organic finish that would be lost in any machine or factory-line process.
The small imperfections, in the form of subtle bumps and tiny air bubbles, only add to the natural charm of Smith’s designs – and reflect the painstaking process of her craftsmanship.

About the artist…
Smith lives and works on the coast of Oregon in the Pacific Northwest with her husband and two children.
Her diverse collections range from earthy tones of greens and browns to bright and cheerful floral accents and those inspired by the beautiful windswept beaches close to her home.
Each unique piece has a story to tell and has been lovingly made by Smith’s own hands. Find out more about the artist and her work on her website Modern Flower Child.
